We have an opportunity for a hardworking, knowledgeable and ambitious GMC registered research physician to make a noticeable impact within a world-renowned clinical research organisation providing working with a varied group of international biotechnology and pharmaceutical clients.
You will be based in our central London state of the art facility, at a clinical site that has been synonymous with cutting edge clinical research for over 30 years. In the last few years our facility has undertaken a £5M redevelopment ensuring the facility matches the excellence of our teams.
As a research physician you will join a close knit team, headed by our Medical Director who is a Fellow both of the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Medicine and of the Royal College of Anaesthetists.
This role will provide the successful candidate with an opportunity to develop the skills required for a role in Clinical Research. Research Physicians are given training and guidance to upskill and bridge the gap between a clinical NHS role and a role within clinical research.
Specific clinical training will be provided early in your employment and ongoing training is undertaken throughout your time at Richmond Pharmacology. Furthermore, the opportunity exists for candidates who have completed core training (or equivalent) to register with the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Medicine and complete PMST.
We are looking for a doctor with good clinical skills and the capacity to apply sound clinical knowledge and judgement. Your previous training should include 4 years post FY2 or experience working as a specialty registrar.
Please provide both CV and a covering letter, including your availability, suitability for the post, and eligibility to work in the UK.
Only candidates short-listed will be contacted.
We have a great group of people that make up our team.
