Outstanding opportunity for a GMC registered doctor to kick start a career in clinical research. Richmond Pharmacology specialises in early phase clinical trials with particular expertise in adaptive study design. Join our team of talented Research Doctors engaged in the earliest stages of drug testing for the development of innovative new treatments in a wide variety of therapeutic areas.
This role will provide the successful candidate with an opportunity to develop the skills required for a role in Clinical Research, including specific project management and medical writing skills, within the context of a commercial CRO. Starting in the safe environment of the Screening Ward, our new Research Physicians are given all the training and guidance they need to upskill and bridge the gap between a clinical NHS role and a commercial research role. Ultimately, you will be given oversight of your own studies to plan and execute, managing all relevant client communications and producing all of the significant reports and analyses based on the clinical data gathered.
Furthermore, the opportunity exists for candidates who have completed core training (or equivalent) to register with the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Medicine and complete PMST.
Our doctors form a close knit team, headed by our Medical Director who is a Fellow both of the Faculty of Pharmaceutical Medicine and of the Royal College of Anaesthetists. There is plenty of support from all quarters and our doctors all comment on how supportive the environment is and how quickly ideas and concerns are given voice, discussed and then actioned within the organization. Specific clinical training will be provided early in your employment and ongoing training is undertaken throughout your time at Richmond Pharmacology.
We have a great group of people that make up our team.
