Richmond Pharmacology is an innovative, dynamic and adaptive Contract Research Organisation (CRO) based in London Bridge, conducting clinical research on behalf of the pharmaceutical industry. We have a great opportunity for a Cardiac Physiologist to join our team and expand their experience within the clinical research arena.
Key duties and responsibilities:
The successful candidate will possess a BSc in Clinical Physiology (or equivalent), and should be RCCP registered. Proven in-depth knowledge and practical expertise in cardiac holter and telemetry analyses.
RPL performs 24 hour Holter and Telemetry recordings which have to be analysed by highlighting all abnormalities into a holter report, which is reviewed by a cardiologist to evaluate whether volunteer is eligible to be included into a clinical study or can continue safely.
Holters are GE Getemed devices used for recording of up to 48 hour continuous 12 lead ECG. Analyses are performed by Cardioday software. Telemetry recording is performed by using Mortara system with analysis using HScribe software suite.
The successful candidate will be a key team member, committed to deliver a high quality service. You will be responsible for ensuring the efficient delivery of your own and department workloads. Due to short study timelines a few hours of weekend and evening work may be required.

Additional responsibilities include contributing to the ongoing review of Richmond Pharmacology’s document templates and SOPs and performing quality control checks of documents. You may also be expected to supervise and provide training to new and junior team members.
