At any one time we perform several clinical trials and this involves allocating and scheduling staff to conduct the numerous procedures that need to be carried out for each trial everyday. In early phase research timing is crucial thus we must ensure all tasks are done to the second and are never forgotten. We are known for being able to plan and conduct complex trials and therefore we need to be able to adapt to different types of trials and have the flexibility to adjust to changes in research programs at short notice. This role will focus on managing a team who are responsible for ensuring that adequate staff are allocated to all procedures conducted during clinical trials run at our two hospital based research facilities.
This post would suit someone who has more than 2 years general management experience and a proven track record of managing personnel and ensuring that their workload is allocated accordingly and conducted on time to ensure maximum efficiency of the workforce. You will need to be a strong manager with the ability to set targets and ensure they are met at all times. You will need to be a forward thinker capable of planning ahead whilst being able to make necessary changes to the workforce and their workload at short notice to maintain efficiency standards. A, previous role involving staff allocation would be advantageous and good IT skills are essential. Fluency in English, both written and oral, is essential. You will work in a fast paced environment reporting to the Director of Operations.
