Senior Pharmacy Manager

Salary: £30k - £36(depending on experience)

Contract: Full Time

Location: South East, London Bridge

We are the UK’s largest early Phase Contract Research Organisation (CRO) uniquely based within excellent university hospital facilities, conducting clinical trials on a multitude of volunteer panels including healthy young, elderly, Japanese and patients from primary and secondary care; in order to develop new medicines, treatments and cures for the future, helping to improve the quality of life for others. We are proud to be the first and only CRO to receive both Standard and Supplementary MHRA Phase I Accreditation for two Trial Centres.

You will be responsible for preparation of Investigational Medical Products (IMPs) for clinical trials, including but not limited to reconstitution, packaging, labelling and dispensing according to the Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) guidelines. You will also be responsible for maintaining the pharmacy related documentation and standard operating procedures.

You will work closely with Research Physicians, Project Managers and other core members of the clinical project team to ensure safe and efficient conduct of clinical trials. This role will offer you an excellent opportunity to further your experience in clinical research regulatory matters.

You must be a UK registered Pharmacist with extensive and demonstrable experience in clinical research, ideally within a CRO or pharmaceutical company. Alternatively, you may be qualified professional with experience of working as a Pharmacy Production Manager. You must be meticulous, well organised and have the ability to work flexibly in accordance with project requirements.

It is essential that you have the following to apply:

  • Graduate in Life Sciences, or registered Pharmacy Technician

  • At least 3 years staff management experience

  • Good attention to detail

  • Able to work flexible hours

  • Ability to work autonomously without direct supervision
