Deputy Research Laboratory Manager

£25,000 per annum

We have an excellent new opportunity for a Deputy Research Laboratory Manager with good knowledge of early phase clinical research and the ability to lead, train and develop a group of high performing graduates.

Working closely with the Research Laboratory Manager of this successful leading clinical trials unit you will help manage a busy processing laboratory and ensure the accurate processing, screening and shipment of clinical samples.  You will also be actively involved in the continuous training and development of a small team of well motivated high performing graduate trainees on a clinical research training rotation who will support the department in providing an excellent laboratory service.

For this challenging role you will need to have very well developed organisational skills, good communication skills, a meticulous approach and a very good eye for detail. Ideally you should have 1-2 years previous experience in a training/supervisory role and experience of working in a laboratory would be an advantage, however full training will be provided for the appropriate candidate.
