Business Development Manager

Up to £30k basic + full benefits package + Commission

Location: South East, Surrey

We are the UK’s largest early Phase Contract Research Organisation (CRO) uniquely based within excellent facilities at two London university hospital sites.

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Business Development Manager to join Richmond Pharmacology’s Sales Team. The role will involve selling RPL’s services to the pharmaceutical and biotech industries and the successful candidate will be a consummate and credible sales professional and will be experienced in operating within a target driven sales environment. You will have a proven success in your sales ability and will have very strong client management skills. You will have a very positive and determined approach to researching and analysing new business opportunities.  The candidate we are looking for will manage the generation and development of new business opportunities, generate valuable sales leads going forward and to that end will develop win-win partnerships with our clients. Ideally you will have previously worked in sales and business development roles within the clinical trials/pharmaceutical industry for a solid period of time.

This role will suit people who are sales hungry and who can exploit their exceptional sales and negotiation skills. You will enjoy proactively managing the sales process: lead generation, asking probing questions, providing credible solutions, negotiating and of course the all important closing stage. You will possess drive, motivation and acute attention to detail in ensuring all sales opportunities at Richmond Pharmacology are captured and explored.
